The Red Rosettes Ladies Chorus are looking for new members to join their ladies barbershop chorus.
AdvertisementThe group sing in a four part harmony using the same part names as a traditional male barbershop quartet, but they sing the parts in a high range to suit women’s vocals.
The parts are tenor (the high part), lead (the main tune), baritone (the bits that fill in around the other parts), bass (the low part).

Members can range from eight up to 80+ in age. Under 18’s would require an adult guardian present. You don’t need to be an amazing singer to join, you just need to be able to hold a tune.
The chorus sing a wide range of songs and genres including pop, musical theatre, rock and ballards.
They also fundraise for local charities every year and sing to raise money to support their club. They have vocal coaches who attend rehearsals to develop skills, and also compete at an annual convention against other choruses.
The rehearsals will take place at Preston Leyland Hotel at 7.30pm on the following dates:
