Police say ‘no crime committed’ following Frenchwood incident appeal

Police investigating an altercation have now identified and spoken to the man they believed may have been the victim of a crime.

On Wednesday, 5 January, officers were called to Selborne Street at 12.36pm following an altercation between two men inside and outside of a silver Vauxhall Astra.

Following a public appeal, detectives have today (January 10) spoken to the man who they believed may have been a crime victim and can confirm he is safe and well.

Following a comprehensive investigation, police are able to confirm that no crime took place.
