Cat rescued from roof in Walton-le-Dale

A young cat has been rescued from the roof of a garage in Walton-le-Dale.

The incident happened yesterday evening (Friday 7 January).

One fire engine from Bamber Bridge attended the property in Farm Lane.

Firefighters used one triple extension ladder and one roof ladder to rescue the cat.

They were in attendance for ten minutes.
