Two people rescued from fire at Broughton premises

Four fire engines from Preston, Fulwood and Longridge attended a fire in Broughton, Preston.


Crews were dispatched at 4.17pm on Wednesday, 29 December. The incident involved a bedroom inside a commercial premises.

Firefighters used a hose reel, four breathing apparatus and two ventilation units to extinguish the fire.

Two casualties received medical attention before being handed over to be looked over by the paramedics.

Crews remained on the scene during Wednesday evening.
