A luxury travel agency in Preston has this month relaunched its store to showcase a host of refurbishments.
First established in the centre of Preston 13 years ago, Cloud Nine Travel started trading with flight-only bookings, building a client base in the North West and nationwide.
To celebrate their re-opening on Saturday 4 December, the agency offered holiday vouchers to the value of £100 to the first hundred customers in-store.
There was a substantial turnout, with a queue forming outside in the morning.

Whilst helping a friend organise a multi-centre honeymoon to the Far East, the directors noticed a gap in the market, as there were limited local agencies to speak to on a face-to-face basis to discuss luxury holidays and honeymoons.
Advertising locally with door-to-door flyers, they received an influx of enquiries and realised that there was a greater demand for luxury holidays, experiential trips and tailor-made tours.
Primarily concentrating on the Indian Ocean, Far East and Arabia, Cloud Nine Travel built relationships with their suppliers. They provided customers with access to offers, private luxury resorts, and complimentary upgrades.

2019 was their most profitable year, and the company has gradually expanded their team from one member of staff to four.
Due to the pandemic, bookings were stopped, and the directors visited daily to ensure clients returned home safely while customer refunds were processed and future holiday queries were answered.
Whilst the store remained closed, they took the opportunity to expand and refurbish the interior with the help of an interior designer.
