A Preston salon has presented a £270 cheque to Rosemere after donating a percentage from a range of treatments during October.

Tropicana Spa staff donated £2 from the amount charged for every facial and massage and other spa treatments.

Proprietor Aurelia Tetera opened the Ribbleton Lane salon four years ago.

Tetera said: “October was breast cancer awareness month.

“We have clients who have been diagnosed with breast cancer and had treatment at Rosemere Cancer Centre, so we wanted to show our support for the work that goes on there.”

Rosemere Cancer Foundation offers treatments and services to cancer patients throughout Lancashire and South Cumbria.
