Preston Police to hold ‘Day of Action’ in the Larches and Savick

Preston Police are this week holding a ‘Day of Action’ with their partner agencies around Elswick Road.


On Thursday 16 December, the police will attend the Larches and Savick area, with an increased presence expected on the day, including mounted police and the dog unit.

The purpose of the day is for the police to be more visible and engage with the community.

They invited residents to speak with the police and discuss any issues.

Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service and staff from Community Gateway Association will also be in attendance.

Police will also visit local schools and businesses to show a friendly face.
