Preston police have renewed their appeal for help to identify the man pictured above in connection with an assault in Preston.
New information has been provided to police since the incident took place and they are hoping to identify the man, who they have been told is from Birmingham.
Officers were called around 3.25am on July 23 to a report a woman had been attacked outside Replay bar in Main Sprit Weind, off Church Street.
At around 3am the victim, a woman in her 20s, was punched to the face, which led to her suffering a broken jaw. She also lost several teeth in the attack.
She was later taken to Royal Preston Hospital for treatment.
Det Con Gary Brackley, of Preston CID, said: “This was a particularly nasty and unprovoked attack.
“The victim was acting as a peacemaker in a fight between two women when she was assaulted.
“While this incident took place some time ago, we have new information which suggests the man pictured is from Birmingham.
“If you can help please contact police immediately.”
