Police arrest Preston man after assault on teenage girl

Police have arrested a Preston man after an assault left a teenage girl with a cracked cheekbone.
AdvertisementThe 17-year-old victim had serious bruising after the attack, which happened at a house in Preston on Sunday 12 December.

Police said that following a public appeal, a 20-year-old Preston man was arrested on suspicion of Section 18 wounding and is currently in custody.
They thanked everyone who shared the appeal.
