On Wednesday December 15, firefighters battled a Deepdale shed blaze that spread to an adjacent building.
At 02.41am, four fire engines from Preston, Penwortham, and Bamber Bridge attended a commercial building fire on Stanleyfield Road with an aerial ladder platform from Blackpool.

The fire involved a shed and spread to a commercial building occupied by Gujerati Sunni Muslim Society Ltd.
A joint investigation between Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service and Lancashire Constabulary has now concluded and determined that a defective light fitting at the rear of the property was the cause of the fire.

Firefighters used four breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets, and a positive pressure ventilation fan to extinguish the flames.
Investigators are not treating the incident as suspicious at this time.
Firefighters and police officers will now maintain a presence at the scene to reassure the community.
