A planning application has been submitted for a new eatery in Ribbleton.

The building at 45 Blackpool Road would be converted from a retail space, which was previously occupied by clothing store Singers Outdoors.

The application is for a change of use to allow the sale of hot food for consumption on the premises.

The new food spot would create three jobs.

Currently there has been no objections to the plan.

Officials have yet to decide if the planning application will go ahead or not.
