Lancashire Council has warned residents to check bus times before travelling over Christmas.
There will be no buses running in Lancashire on Christmas Day.
But on Boxing Day and New Year’s Day, some bus companies will run a limited service.

There is the possibility that services could change at short notice due to staff shortages caused by Covid-19.
By law, the public must wear a face-covering inside bus stations and while travelling on public transport (unless exempt).
Traveline is open every day apart from Christmas Day, so residents can call to speak to a travel advisor to find out about all public transport services in Lancashire and beyond on 0871 200 22 33 (calls from landlines cost 12p a minute plus the phone company’s access charge).

The public can find contact details for commercial bus operators and more information about arrangements over Christmas and New Year by searching ‘bus service changes’ at lancashire.gov.uk.
