Santa Claus and friends are coming to Cottam this Sunday (19 December).

Over £1,000 was raised by the group’s parade in 2020. This year they hope to raise even more, with all donations going to Tippings’ 2021 Charity Christmas Lights and Cottam Community Association.

One of the organisers said: “You won’t believe your eyes with the magic, characters, lights and music. It’s a Christmas explosion.

“Please line the roads as we come along the parade route, and give generously to support our local charities.”

Santa and his friends will be stopping off at the following locations (estimated times):

• The Guild Merchant 4.50pm
• Hayfield Park 5pm
• Hoyles Lane (St. Andrews) 5.20pm
• The end of Hoyles Lane 5.40pm
• Cottam Way by Story Homes 6pm
• Tippings’ 2021 Charity Christmas Lights 6.20pm
• The Cottam Community Centre 6.40pm
• Ancient Oak 7pm

Cottam Community Centre will be offering cake and mulled wine, plus live carol singing.

Donation buckets will be carried around on the evening.
