On Sunday, November 28, Preston’s DLN Dance travelled to Stoke-On-Trent to compete in the United Dance Organisation Regional World Qualifiers.
AdvertisementThe dance school took three teams to see if they could qualify to represent England in the UDO World Championships in 2022, and they successfully qualified all three teams.
They qualified and placed:

The dance school also entered solos and duos and managed to qualify some students from ages five to 19 which means solos and duos will also be representing England in August 2022.

Olivia Age 6 6th Place
Oceann Age 5 3rd Place
Rose Age 7 1st Place
Jessie Age 8 3rd Place
Ellie Age 14 2nd Place
Emilia Age 18 6th Place
Rebecca age 17 5th Place

The next Event DLN Dance will be competing at is the British Championships in March and the dancers are currently in training to bring some titles back to Preston.
This is the first year that DLN Dance has been open. Demi-Leigh, owner, said: “We are so proud of everyone and thankful for all the help we have had to keep us being DLN Dance – Vernons Carus Sports Club , Minitrons Team Sponsor Lolipops Lancashire and two new team sponsors that are about to be announced.
“Lastly DLN Dance wouldn’t have been able to achieve the things they did this weekend without the team of teachers -myself, Grace Horn, Katy Smith and assistant teacher Ellie Hilton.
“We can’t wait to represent our country at the World Championships in August 2022.”
