Members of Preston Guild Lodge raised £500 for Rosemere Cancer Foundation.

The lodge’s new Worshipful Master Ian Greenwood, who nominated the charity on taking office this month was joined by longstanding Rosemere Cancer Foundation fundraiser and fellow lodge member Eddie Taylor in presenting a cheque to the charity.

Freemasons take a collection at their meetings and raise money by raffles and other means to give freely to charities like Rosemere.

Rosemere’s community and events fundraiser Yvonne Stott said: “We are very grateful to Preston Guild Lodge members.

“It proves every penny counts as collections can mount up to a great donation that we can spend on our projects.”
