Council to inspect height of new Plungington speed bumps after concerns raised

Lancashire County Council is set to inspect the new speed bumps in Brook Street, Plungington.

Blog Preston was approached by a resident with concerns the speed bumps – including the one show below located near the junction with Aqueduct Street – are too high and could cause damage to vehicles.

A spokesperson for Lancashire County Council said: “The road humps on Brook Street were replaced as part of the recent resurfacing works along that road.

“A highways officer from Lancashire County Council has been asked to inspect the speed bumps on Brook Street following concerns about the height of one of the bumps and will respond accordingly.”
