Cardinal Newman College raise over £100 at break time for Rosemere

Students raised over £100 with their break time cake sale

Chemistry teacher Paula Rowlinson helped her students at Preston’s Cardinal Newman College concoct the perfect formula for supporting Rosemere Cancer Foundation – a break time cake sale.

As well as some star home-baking, the students sold sweets plus badges and locker keyrings they had made to raise £177.90.

Led by Paula, the college has been supporting Rosemere Cancer Foundation since 2017 with annual fundraisers that had already raised £1,618.87 for the charity.
