102 knives and weapons surrendered in Avenham as part of Operation Sceptre

As part of Operation Sceptre, Preston police officers emptied the knife surrender bin on Princess Street in Avenham.

A total of 102 knives and other weapons have been surrendered by members of the public, and therefore are out of circulation.

Officers are urging more to come forward and bin their knives to make the streets of Preston a safer place.
