UCLan is next month welcoming a Spanish worker federation for a free symposium covering the Preston Model.
On 3 November, from 10am to 1pm, UCLan will bring together experts from Mondragon Corporation in co-operative consultancy, management, social innovation, education, and banking.
The Preston Model is a term used to describe how Preston City Council, its anchor institutions and partners implement the principles of community wealth building within Preston and Lancashire.
In 2018, UCLan hosted a symposium with experts from Mondragon and the United States, feeding knowledge and experience into the development of the Preston Model. Since then, much has happened.
