Temporary traffic lights now gone that caused Fulwood hold-ups

Delays on Fulwood’s Garstang Road

Roadworks at the junction of Fulwood’s Black Bull Lane and Garstang Road led to delays yesterday.

On Wednesday 13 October, temporary traffic lights were in place while work was undertaken to replace traffic signal poles.

A spokesman for Lancashire County Council said: “The temporary lights, which were in place yesterday at the junction of Garstang Road and Black Bull Lane, were needed while work was carried out to replace a pole supporting the signals.

“We’re sorry for any inconvenience and grateful for people’s patience while this work took place.”

The works are now finished, and traffic has returned to normal.
