Slug & Lettuce to take over popular Yates’s spot in Preston

Popular Yates’s Bar in Preston is set to reopen as a Slug & Lettuce.

It will open on Friday 3 December.

Preston At Night took to Twitter to say: “The rumours are true… Yates will reopen as Slug & Lettuce on 3 December. Tell a friend that loves cocktails.”

Mark Whittle, Preston City Centre BID Manager, said: “We understand the investment was planned for early 2020, but put ‘on ice’ due to the pandemic.

“Yates has been a popular brand in the city centre for decades, but Slug & Lettuce offers something exciting, new, and even more popular.

“With a great reputation for cocktails, dining, and décor, it will be a really good addition to the city centre’s strong offer”.
