A planning application has been submitted for a new rural business park in Broughton.
The development on land at Orchard Farm in Whittingham Lane would be made up of 33 units across nine single storey blocks covering 2,728 sq m of floorspace.
The site is currently mainly grazing land, split in the middle with a hedgerow and mature trees. The surrounding area to the north and south is predominantly residential, and the M6 lies to the west.
Access to the business park would be off Whittingham Lane. There would be parking spaces for 131 cars, 14 bicycles, and five motorcycles.
Agents Plan Red Ltd say the park would provide ‘significant economic benefit’ for existing and new businesses in the area.
