Police arrest man after seizing Class A drugs in Preston

Drugs, cash and a BB gun were seized

A Preston Police task force have arrested a man for possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.

On Saturday 25 September, police located the male on Waverley Park. After he tried to escape, he was then detained and transported into custody.

After the arrest, a search was made of the vicinity and a realistic BB gun was located and seized. Enquiries are ongoing with the arrested male.

In a Facebook post, Preston Police said: “It is the continued support of the public that has assisted in this arrest.

“We thank those that came forward anonymously and would continue to encourage people to do so.”
