The new dog-friendly Hurst Grange Cafe in Penwortham has opened for business.
Located in Penwortham’s refurbished Coach House on Hurst Grange Park, the cafe offers breakfast, lunch, homemade cakes and barista coffees.
With funding from South Ribble Borough Council and the National Lottery Heritage Fund, the site was brought back as a focal point for park visitors.

On 4 September, The Mayor of South Ribble, Cllr Jane Bell, cut the ribbon on the facility, transformed from a rundown relic into a visitor centre and events space.
The Coach House Restoration Project and the Friends of Hurst Grange Park provided £17,000 towards the renovation through a ‘Buy a Brick’ appeal and a series of fundraising events supported by local businesses.

The cafe is open 10am-4pm, seven days a week.
