Organised by local puppy trainer MeeraPuppins and Frans Fotos, the dog-friendly Howl-O-Ween charity photoshoot and social is being held on Saturday 23 October, from 12 noon until 1.30pm.

Meera and Fran have teamed up to host the photoshoot, which will focus on uniting members of the local dog-owning community for a fun event whilst supporting small dog-friendly businesses and Homeless Hounds.

Meera said: “From the start, Fran and I wanted to create a local community event for fellow dog-owners.

“We also wanted to showcase and support some fabulous dog-friendly small businesses, who have very kindly donated prizes for our event.”

The pair have asked for a minimum £5 donation from each attending household, 100 per cent of which will be donated to Homeless Hounds. Fancy dress is encouraged for humans and hounds alike, but the team understand that not all dogs like to dress up, so it is not obligatory.

Meera will be on hand to offer puppy training tips and advice, including puppy socialisation and the ‘Puppy Bundle’ for new or inexperienced puppy owners.

Owners can also pick up copies of the Penwortham Puppy Post, and there will be games to play, competitions and prizes to win.
