M6 near Preston closed due to flooding

Part of the M6 near Preston is closed due to flooding.

Two lanes have been shut on the southbound carriageway between J33 and J32.

Traffic officers are at the scene.

A tweet from National Highways North West said: “The #M6 southbound #J33 (#Garstang #Fleetwood #A6) to #J32 (#BroughtonInterchange #Blackpool #PrestonNorth) 2 lanes have been closed due to flooding in the carriageway. Traffic Officers are currently at the scene.”
