Fulwood residents will descend on Crafty Beggars Ale House later this month to start the second annual Fulwood Scarecrow Trail.
Organised by community Facebook group We are Fulwood, the annual festival and trail will raise funds for local mental health charities Andy’s Man Club and Team Kick Start.
Running from 23 to 31 October and beginning at 10.00, participants can expect to see scarecrows displayed in windows and gardens across Fulwood.

We are Fulwood wants residents, businesses and community groups to create scarecrows ‘of all shapes and sizes’ for the festival, with a registration deadline of 18 October.
In a Facebook post, We are Fulwood said: “Join in the half-term fun and follow the trail of spectacular scarecrows around Fulwood.
“Grab your trail map and a pen and make your way through Fulwood to see if you can spot some of your favourite Halloween scarecrows.”

The event will include a prize draw for participants who complete the map, first, second, and third-place prizes for the best scarecrow, and a raffle.
We are Fulwood said: “The scarecrows need to be family-friendly and Halloween themed. They can be on their own or within a scene – it is entirely up to you! Go as big or as small as you like.”
Scarecrows must be in position from 23 to 31 October, with an entry fee of £5 for scarecrows, £2 for a map and raffle ticket, or £1 for separate raffle tickets.
