Eligible Prestonians urged to get their free flu jab as winter approaches

Prestonians are being encouraged to get their flu vaccination for free at Lancaster Road Pharmacy in St John’s Shopping Centre.

Those eligible on the NHS can head to the pharmacy instead of waiting for an appointment at their GP.

People are encouraged to turn up Monday-Saturday 9.45am-4.30pm.

Those who are eligible are:

  • Those 50+
  • Those 18-49 and in an at risk category
  • Pregnant women
