Plans to transform Craggs Mill into a multi-level community hub have fallen through, with the Grade II listed building in Moor Lane now up for sale.Advertisement
Owner Richard Porter had been working with Preston Here for Humanity on the plans, but since then the community group’s work has increased meaning they need a much bigger industrial unit.
Richard and the team had also previously made an appeal for help after project costs spiralled.
Richard told Blog Preston: “Hashtag Quiz, my main business, has launched a new quiz hosting software and entertainment system, which is keeping me really busy.
“It leaves me with very little time to organise another use for the Mill, or follow up leads of occupiers, or project manage a build, and it seems a shame to leave the Mill undeveloped for the next few years.”

That means that Craggs Mill is now on the market for anyone who wishes to use it for their own opportunities or even a home or bar.
It is for sale with HDAK for £150k.
