Daniel told Blog Preston: “The traffic was jammed up, and the lady just comes speeding out of the side road and knocked me off. I didn’t have time to try and slow myself down.”
After being knocked off his bike, the driver ran Daniel over but failed to stop. An ambulance rushed him to the hospital, where he received treatment for a head wound.
When asked how he was now, Daniel said: “I’m good – just a new scar on my head and a few cuts and bruises. I will heal, though. There was a lot of queued up traffic, so there must be somebody that saw it.”
