Preston’s Light Foundation will resume its interfaith gatherings on the first Thursday of each month.

Starting on Thursday 7 October, from 7.30pm to 9pm, residents of all faiths will gather at the Quakers Friends Meeting House to discuss the impact of Covid-19 on faith communities.

The organisers said the event is:

  • Open to all people from all faiths, and none, and from all backgrounds and ways of life
  • A non-judgmental forum for open and honest discussions based upon mutual respect
  • An opportunity to understand and get to know others perspectives, traditions and cultures
  • For discussion and ideas that unite and concern us as a community
  • For encouraging working together for the common good.

A Light Foundation spokesperson said: “We would like to invite everyone to join us for these popular gatherings discussing new topics each month.

“We will continue to build and strengthen ties between faith and non-faith communities whilst attempting to explore the meanings of life.”

The meeting will take place at Quakers Friends Meeting House, 189 St George’s Rd, Preston, PR1 6NB.
