The event was paused to keep volunteers safe during the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The events will begin Saturday 2 October.

Local communities are being asked to spread the word so the group can help the most vulnerable. They will also be distributing warm clothing during the autumn and winter months.

A volunteer said: “We want to thank Preston City Council and The Foxton Centre members for their support during these difficult times giving us the measures to restart.”
