A man featured in an image shot by Preston photographer Joseph Gudgeon has visited a Harris exhibition to view himself.
Freelance photographer Joseph Gudgeon captures aspects of life around Preston, specialising in documentary photography.
His latest series, The Last Suppers, features shots of Preston’s traditional pubs and social clubs, which Joseph has photographed over the last few years.

In an article last year, Joe told Blog Preston: “I like to document all aspects of life in my hometown.“I like to document all aspects of life in my hometown. My projects have included everything from pubs, social clubs, the former indoor market and even launderettes.
“I always like to have a chat whilst taking photos. I have a genuine interest in people’s lives.”

He has captured everything from traditional pub games, glimpses of humour to the many local characters who regularly frequent the local establishments.
Joe said many Preston pubs have permanently closed, which means the images will be poignant in the future.
Joseph takes a genuine interest in the people he photographs, and it comes across in the warmth that emanates from the portraits on display.
The exhibition is on display at The Harris until it closes on 2 October.
