Mowgli’s owner has announced that the Indian street food chain will be opening in Miller Arcade in Preston City Centre.

Nisha Katona took to Twitter to share the news yesterday (Friday 17 September).

She said: “Today I signed my Preston Mowgli lease! It’s actually happening!

“Aiming for spring or summer of next year in Miller Arcade – taking my chat bombs to a town that is so close to my heart.”

Katona was born and raised in Lancashire and previously worked as a barrister in Preston.

The news comes after a previous plan to open in St George’s Shopping Centre fell through.
