Investigation launched to find cause of fire at commercial premises in Leyland

Yesterday (Tuesday 7 September) at 8.42am, four fire crews from Penwortham, Bamber Bridge, Preston and Chorley attended a fire involving a commercial premises in Bannister Drive, Leyland.

The fire involved a section of roof approximately one square metre in size.

Crews extinguished the fire using a hose reel, triple extension ladder and reciprocal saw.

An investigation into the cause of the fire is now underway.
