This first weekend of the Lancashire Encounter arts festival was a roaring success, with Prestonians gathering to celebrate the county’s diverse cultural offer.
Having kicked off on Friday 17 September and running to Saturday 2 October, Encounter sees the city brought to life with an exciting programme of contemporary and community arts.
The festival is running at locations across Preston, including the Flag Market, the Harris, and the Bus Station.
Local photographer Michael Porter was in attendance last weekend and took some remarkable photos of the action.
