Heavy rain sees disruption on M6 after crash near Junction 31

Lancashire Police have today warned drivers to slow down after poor weather led to a collision on the M6.

In a tweet, Lancashire Police said the adverse conditions are causing ‘a lot of issues’ this morning for the police and National Highways: North-West.

Poor conditions have led to a traffic accident between junctions 31a and 31 on the M6. Two lanes have been closed while Highways England clears up the road.

Police said drivers should slow down and drive to the current conditions.
