Three Garstang Scouts are seeking funding for a trip to build an education centre in Africa.
Jorge Pollard is one of three West Lancs Explorer Scouts raising funds for the expedition to Malawi next summer to help build a centre in the village of Mangani.
Jorge must raise £1,955 to fund the three-week volunteering expedition and has organised a Gin and Ale night to help meet the costs.

On Friday 1 October, from 7pm, the Scouts are hosting the charity night at the Kepple Lane Scout and Guide Hut in Garstang.
Ticketholders will receive a drink on arrival and four drink tokens, which can be exchanged with Stable Yard Distillery Ltd or the Avid Brewing Co, who will be in attendance on the night.
The night will feature talks and nibbles, including cheeseboards from Dewlay Cheese and sweet treats from Creative Cakery. All money raised will go towards the fundraising total.
Recently, Jorge undertook a 27-mile canal trek from Lancaster to Preston, raising over £200, and is planning a Christmas Makers Market and Charity Afternoon Tea event in November.
Tickets are £20 and available via email or text: 07956638882
