The SPAR City of Preston 10K, the only race where you can run through the heart of Preston City Centre, is returning after a year off due to Covid.
AdvertisementThe event will take place on Sunday, 26 September.
All finishers will receive a commemorative SPAR City of Preston 10K medal, and all runners will receive a t-shirt.
The race will be marshalled and on closed roads, and there are route markers every 1km.

The day before, Saturday 25 September, will see the ‘Bee in the Park Preston’ event take place.

In Partnership with Wellbeing Through Sport, the event hopes to teach families to #BeeActiveBeeHealthyBeeHappy.
Participants will receive an information leaflet with questions focused on eating, exercise and mental health. The answers will be provided, posted along the trail every 50 yards.
At the end of the trail everyone receives a special pack full of sponsor vouchers and goodies, along with a well-done medal.

10.10 – 10.30: Shark Attack (Emotional Awareness)
10.50 – 11.10: Captain Dodgeball (Assertiveness)
11.30 – 11.50: Sit down volleyball (humour)
12.30 – 12.50: Dodgeball (Emotional Awareness)
13.10 – 13.30: Domes and Dishes (Conflict Resolution)
