Brockholes Nature Reserve closes visitor village following power cut

Samlesbury nature reserve Brockholes has today closed its visitor village after a power cut.

A Brockholes representative said that the village will remain closed until further notice.

They apologised for the inconvenience and said they hope to have the matter dealt with as soon as possible.

The car park remains open for those wishing to walk around the nature reserve. There are currently no toilet facilities available.

The In Focus optics shop based at Brockholes tweeted: “We are open nevertheless. Thankfully, you don’t need electricity to test binoculars and telescopes!”
