The Reader in Sport Exercise and Nutritional Sciences, who is Course Leader for UCLan’s MSc in Sport and Exercise Sciences and MSc Nutrition and Exercise Sciences, said: “I’m absolutely delighted to have been selected for this prestigious Fellowship. BASES Fellowships are considered an accolade that many academics aspire to and I’m truly honoured that I’ve been chosen.”

BASES Fellowships are awarded to recognise esteemed professional achievement, skills, knowledge and service to BASES and the sport and exercise science community, and encourage continued service to BASES in leadership and ambassadorial roles. BASES typically make between three and six fellows per year.

Dr Sinclair has been a BASES accredited sport and exercise scientist for many years after undertaking the BASES endorsed sport and exercise science course at UCLan.
