Mere supermarket, also known as ‘Russian Lidl’, have confirmed to Blog Preston that they are preparing to open on Saturday, 14 August.
The address of the supermarket will be 198 Miller Road in Ribbleton
Mere currently have eight staff members.
Mere claims to be 30 per cent cheaper than Aldi and Lidl, so Prestonians should prepare themselves for big bargains.

Preston is not the only store which is opening – a further three Mere outlets are planned this year including two in Wales and another in the North of England.
In total, the discounter has said it wants to open 300 sites in the UK in the next eight to ten years.
Mere, which trades as Svetofor in Russia, has 3,200 stores internationally and opened its first European Mere store in 2018.
Mere stores are expected to double up as warehouses, with images from other sites across Europe showing items displayed on palettes.
As well as fresh food, Mere shops across Europe also have chilled and frozen ranges.
