Police are appealing for information to locate a Preston man in connection with a serious assault that occurred in Friargate.

Detectives want to speak to 21-year-old Liam Higginson about an assault at Tesco Express in Friargate, Preston, on July 21.

Higginson has links to Lancaster and Blackpool and is said to be white and tall. He has short, often combed over, brown hair and stubble.

Members of the public who see Higginson are asked not to approach him but to call 999 as soon as possible.

For non-immediate sightings, call 101, quoting 0739 July 21 2021, and the information will be passed on to DC Joanna Crichton.
