Avenham Park’s Pavilion cafe is going to continue to be run by Preston City Council.
The cafe has been run by the council since July 2019 after closing for a while.
The council decision stated that the café will be run by the council until September 30th 2021.

They also agreed a revenue funded budget increase of £48,000.
Back in 2019, the Tribourne Group closed the cafe in early July.
They hit a bump in the road in July 2021 due to having to close as a result of members of staff testing positive for Covid, however it has now reopened since.

Toilet facilities at Avenham Park stayed open and available for the public, but closed early for cleaning.
The café is open from 10am-4:30pm each Monday, 11am-4pm Tuesday-Friday and 10am-4pm each weekend.
