Lancashire police have now arrested Keith Smith after two shop robberies.
Smith, 35, of Grizedale Crescent, Ribbleton, was wanted by police investigating a robbery on Saturday 31 July and a further robbery yesterday Monday 2 August at Tesco in Longridge Road, Preston.
On each occasion staff have been threatened and money stolen from the till.
Smith is described as white, 5ft 7in tall, of medium build. He has blue eyes, short, dark-brown hair and speaks with a regional accent.

He has links to the Ribbleton and city centre areas.
Detectives are appealing for information and urging anyone who knows where Smith is, or has seen him, to come forward.
Det Insp George Binns, of Preston CID, said: “Smith is wanted for two serious offences.
“I believe someone will know where he is and can help with our enquiries.
“Please call police immediately if you have any information.
“Smith could be violent and people should not approach him.”
