Co-owner Gareth Morris said: “We started as a craft beer wholesaler. Importing and wholesaling craft beer from Europe and in particular the Balkan region. We have built this side of the business to supplying 60 different shops and bars around the country from York to Knutsford, Liverpool to Sheffield.

“We wanted to create a place where the worlds best craft beer meets the worlds best wine. The places we visit usually have one or the other but never both.

“Our vision was somewhere we could take our partners where they could enjoy a world class wine and we weren’t forced into having a commercial mass produced beer and we could enjoy a craft beer we’d never tried and our partner didn’t have to drink a sub par house wine. Our motto of “Every Sip Matters” was born out of this vision.

Gareth co-owns the bar with business partner Nikola Salipur who spent 12 years travelling the world as a Sommelier and has worked in some the worlds best restaurants and hotels.

Gareth added: “The feedback we’ve had has also been incredible with people telling us it’s the “best bar in Preston” and “the best bar I’ve ever been in” which we’ve taken as we’re achieving what we set out to do.

“We have both our on license and off license and the shop has been doing amazingly well too with people exploring both our vast wine and beer selection.

“We pride ourselves on bringing a level of knowledge that can’t rivalled so love it when customers go away with a brewery they’ve never heard of or wine from a country they’ve never tried and come back and buy again and again.”
