Plans to turn a former Fulwood car garage into a SPAR store have been approved.
This means that the existing building will be demolished as well as a new two-storey unit being built.
30 new jobs will also be created as a result of the development, by the Spar group, as well as retaining ten existing jobs.

13 new car parking spaces, two cycle spaces and two disability spaces will be added.
The opening hours will be Monday to Friday 6:30am-10pm, Saturday 7am-10pm hours, Sunday 8am-10pm hours.
All nine committee members voted for the development to be approved with conditions.

These include a time limit and the noise level for the development shall not exceed 10 decibels amongst other conditions.
