Jaguar driver crashes through hedge into field outside Longridge

The car drove through a fence and into a field

This morning (Tuesday August 10), at 5.30am, police attended a vehicle on Preston Road that had been driven off the carriageway and into a field.

The incident occurred on the outskirts of Longridge.

Preston Police said the vehicle, a Jaguar, crashed through a fence and has damaged some power lines, which are now lower over the road.

They warned commuters about potential delays while they wait for BT to attend to fix the lines. Once the road is clear, the public will be notified.
