Fire service attends kitchen fire in Friargate flat

Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service crews have attended a kitchen fire in Friargate.
Two fire engines extinguished the fire at the first floor flat today (Tuesday 3 August) just after 3pm.
A spokesperson for LFRS said: “Firefighters extinguished the fire using a dry powder extinguisher, and a ventilation van unit.
“One casualty received first aid from fire service personnel. Crews were in attendance for thirty minutes.”
