Cadley FC are appealing for CCTV footage following reports of antisocial behaviour on a playing field on South Drive in Fulwood.
In a Facebook post, the club asked residents who live on both South Grove and South Drive, which border the nearby park, to come forward if they have footage of individuals using mopeds or scooters on the newly seeded site.
The club said if anyone can provide any further details on the incidents, to get in touch.
They said they are working hard with Preston City Council and the Football Foundation to improve the park, but sadly, antisocial behaviour is putting a costly project at risk.

A spokesperson for the Cadley club said: “Your actions are mindless! This and previous incidents have been reported to the police. Should you witness anything similar, please let either ourselves know or contact the police to notify them. Thank you.”
In the post, they said the behaviour is jeopardising the home and away teams that will be able to play on the site in the future.

Councillor Robert Boswell, Cabinet Member for Environment and Community Safety, said: “It’s disappointing to hear of antisocial behaviour taking place in our parks and open spaces, areas that are there to be enjoyed by everyone as important facilities for our community.
“A lot of hard work and infrastructure upgrades have gone into the playing field at South Drive, and the thoughtless behaviour of a few undermines all that work.
“If anyone does witness incidents of antisocial behaviour in this or any other area, please report it to the police.”
